OJ Without Ham
It has been almost a year since Hamlet passed away from FIP, a rare form of cat cancer. He was such a physically strong and stubborn cat. He was only 8 years old. Orange Julius (aka OJ) is now home alone. After spending a pretty sum in vet fees, I decided to get pet insurance to hedge my bets with my second cat in case of anything happening. I was on the fence because it is very seldom they do get sick other than the odd hairball. They say you can invest that in a TFSA and use that emergency fund for situations like this. I am currently with Petsecure. They have probably the most extensive pet insurance policies I have ever seen. They are recommended the most by vets also. When it comes to your pet, it is just like a family member so you try your best to make sure they are looked after and have the best medicare possible.
